PERILS OF OUR TIME

The Bible clearly tells us that among God’s people there are wolves that wear sheep’s clothing. Read how prophet Jeremiah puts it under inspiration-: o isn’t perfect, and full of weakness and sin.

I think one of the reasons we don’t “see” evil is because we find it so difficult to believe that evil individuals actually exist or that certain people can actually be engaged with devilish practices.

We can’t imagine someone deceiving us with no conscience, hurting others with no remorse, spinning outrageous fabrications to ruin someone’s reputation, or pretending he or she is spiritually committed yet has no fear of God before his or her eyes. The list is endless for that is a reflection of our broken world today.

The Bible clearly tells us that among God’s people there are wolves that wear sheep’s clothing . Read how prophet Jeremiah puts it under inspiration-:

“But now I see that the prophets of Jerusalem are even worse! They commit adultery and love dishonesty. They encourage those who are doing evil so that no one turns away from their sins. These prophets are as wicked as the people of Sodom and Gomorrah once were.””Jeremiah‬ ‭23:14‬ ‭NLT‬‬.

Yet in another place the scripture rightly says this about same people, who they aught to be-: ““The words of a priest’s lips should preserve knowledge of God, and people should go to him for instruction, for the priest is the messenger of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.”Malachi‬ ‭2:7‬ ‭NLT‬‬

It’s true that every human heart is inclined toward sin and that includes desperation with wicked devices. We all miss God’s mark of moral perfection. However, the horrible bit of this is when in our hearts, we know God’s righteous commands but do not see it fit to acknowledge God anymore in our hearts. This could arise from hardened hearts of unbelief, simplifying matters of eternal consequences or fallen to satanic opportunities that looks appealing on the outside but deadly on the inside.

This blog is to awaken every such heart that have been deceived into ignoring God’s warning because as we rightly know, we live in a culture that is so depraved and therefore desperately wicked that evil is celebrated over good, injustice thrive over justice and lies preferred over truth. But God has preserved his remnants that will continue to warn us of the inescapable wroth of God for those who will harden their hearts.

For you reading this, hear this-: “Remember what the scripture says: “Today when you hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts as Israel did when they rebelled.””Hebrews‬ ‭3:15‬ ‭NLT‬‬.
